To ambiently exist on the internet, and elicit interesting conversations.

I'm a fan of designers like Maggie Appleton, Andy Matuschak, and Alexander Obenauer. All writers, in one form or another, who found ways to ambiently exist online and use that presence to support a rich intellectual life.

I've shamelessly borrowed Maggie's idea of relative growth stages in writing. It makes it easier to contribute observations to a body of work, without necessarily having to extrude them into chains of thought or fully-formed essays before publishing.

What's missing, unfinished or quietly underway:

• Colophon, cont'd - Post-hoc rationalisations of my design and engineering choices.
• Work - Case studies coming soon. Until then, imagine tasteful screenshots and strategic impact.
• Services - Where I publicly admit that I do this for money.
• Library - Notes, bookmarks and other assorted paraphernalia.
• Play - Projects with no business case. Also, an ongoing and deeply unserious attempt at indie game development.
